Board of Directors

The Board of Directors and Management of FiBank Liberia comprise very successful and accomplished professionals and entrepreneurs who have made notable marks in their chosen areas of endeavour. They include:

Madam Marie E. Leigh-Parker - Chairperson Madam Leigh-Parker is an Economics graduate who has conducted various surveys for USA and Liberian Governments, the World Bank, UNDP, IMF and AASU. She has several years experience in Personnel Management, Corporate Administration, Corporate Finance and Technology. Presently, she is the Senior Vice President of the Liberian National Oil Company.

Dr. Ogala Osoka - Vice Chairman Dr. Osoka is the former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria Reinsurance Corporation and National Insurance Company Nigeria Plc. He attended the City of London College and Nottingham University, UK. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute London; Fellow of the British Institute of Management; Associate Member the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators; and a Member of the African Insurance Organization. He has authored several books on Management, Insurance, and Personnel Administration including "Insurance and Development in Nigeria" and "Insurance and the Nigerian Economy." He was recently elected President of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria.

Mr. Amin Modad - Director Mr. Modad is outstanding Businessman with expertise and experience in International Trade and Investments, Policy Analysis and Research. Presently he is a Consultant with WTO, AGOA, and EPA. He holds a Masters in Business Administration

Mr. Chukwuemeka F. Abone - Director Mr. Abone is a Chartered Accountant with vast experience in Banking and Finance, Trade and Investments. He is the Chairman, FiBank Group and Consultant on various sectors of Economic Development.

Mrs. Melisa A. Emeh – Director Mrs. Emeh holds a BA degree in Economics from the University of Liberia, and has attended several post graduate Advanced Management Programs in Finance, Banking & Credit Development at Chase Manhattan Bank New York & Geneva, and National Institute of Banking & Finance, Islamadbad, Pakistan. She is vastly experienced and has worked for many financial institutions both locally and abroad. Mrs. Emeh has also worked with the UNDP as a National Micro Project Coordinator.

Management Personnel

Mr. Sylva C. Ashimole - Managing Director/CEO Mr. Ashimole has over twenty five years experience in Commercial, Investment, and Corporate Banking, and has attended several Manpower Development Programs at Columbia University Business School NY, INSEAD Business School Paris, and Israel. He holds MBA Banking and Finance plus degrees in Economics and Political Science. He is also a Chartered Stockbroker.

James E. Sirleaf - General Manager, Corporate and Institutional Banking Mr. Sirleaf has over two decades experience in Banking and Finance inclusive of assignments with Citibank/Citigroup Profit Center Management, Branch Operations and Credit. He holds an MBA from the University of Liverpool, PG in E-Business from the University of Westminster England, and a degree in Business Administration.

Eze A. Eze - General Manager, Commercial Banking Mr. Eze has close to two decades experience in Commercial and Investment Banking. He holds an M.Sc Economics, MBA Banking & Finance, and BSC Economics degree. He is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.

Mr. Henry E. Luke, III – Head Of Accounts Mr. Luke holds a BSC (Honors) Degree in Economics from the African Methodist Episcopal Univeristy, and presently is a candidate for MBA in Banking & Finance from the University of Liberia. He has served with FiBank Liberia since its inception in 2005.

Mr. Amos Quermollue - Head Of Internal Audits Mr. Quermollue holds BBA & MBA degrees from the University of Liberia in Accounting and Banking and Finance. He has several years as a professional auditor at Pannell Kerr Forster (PKF) Liberia and FiBank Liberia respectively.

Mr. Alphonso T. Wessehl - Head Of Credit Mr. Wessehl holds a BBA Degree in Accounting from the University of Liberia, and presently is a candidate for MBA in Banking & Finance from the University of Liberia. He has worked with several financial institutions as a credit and marketing officer.

Mr. Dimangmo T. Giddings - Head Of Administration Mr. Giddings holds a BBA Degree in Management from the University of Liberia, and presently is a candidate for MBA in Banking & Finance from the University of Liberia. He has worked with several financial institutions as a credit officer/supervisor.

Mr. Daniel Wollo - Head Of Banking Operations Mr. Wollo holds a BBA Degree in Management from the University of Liberia, and presently is a candidate for MBA in Banking & Finance from the University of Liberia. He has served with FiBank Liberia since its inception in 2005.

Mr. Justin Ogugua - Head Of Foreign Operations Mr. Ogugua holds a BSC Degree in Government/Public Administration from Abia State University Uturu, Nigeria. He has served with several banking institutions in Nigeria in various senior capacities. His career as a Banker spans from 1995 to present

Mr. Godwin Okoro Ikechukwu - Head Of Information Technology Mr. Ikechukwu holds a PDS in Statistics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria in addition to the PGD & MBA in Business Management from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Nigeria. He has served with several banking and industrial institutions in Nigeria in various senior capacities.
