Our Mission Statement
Our
Mission is the creation of wealth and if by gaining wealth, growth is a consequence,
then it naturally follows that the primary objective of a small enterprise,
would be to grow and become big. This concept of creating wealth means nothing
more or less than sustainable economic development. This is what Liberia needs
and this is what Africa needs and this is what FIB in The Gambia, Sierra Leone
and Liberia stands for. The FIB link in West Africa aims at the economic integration
of the West Coast by indigenous private investment which will generate value
to the public. The three dimensional integrated approach to capacity building
is what FIBL is going to foster as its strategy to promoting a culture of creating
and sustaining wealth. These includes Education and Training, Capital facilitation
and social infrastructure enhancement. Our role as financiers, is to facilitate
the acqusition of capital/funds/money to finance wealth creating endeavours,
which is one of the three dimensional approaches to capacity building. The other
two, we see as, the social and welfare components which would normally be provided
by the Government and NGO's.

FIB is here to create practical solutions that will make
a positive difference to each customer's need. The Board of Directors and
Management of FIBL are anxiously poised to live up to the Bank's Motto: "we
make the difference." We will make a difference by how we serve and interact
with our customers. We intend to make a difference in the types of products
and services which we provide. We will make a difference by catering to a
culture of creating and sustaining wealth. We will make a difference in how
we promote and market our products. We intend to make a difference in our
style of cooperation and collaboration with our fellow Banker's and financiers.
We will make a difference by giving special attention to those individuals
and business affected by the scourge of war. We will, above all, make a difference
in how we manage the capital and assets of our principal depositors and borrowing
customers and be compliant with all the financial regulations in the industry.
